Not Your Grandparent’s Brokers

How It All Began

Cross Northwest was born from the passion and vision of Andrew Cross – who was tired of working for someone else’s future and decided to start working for his own.


After years in executive leadership – making deals, streamlining operations, improving productivity and solving problems for other people, Andrew ventured into the world of entrepreneurship. He wanted to use his expertise and experience to help business owners – but not as their employee, as the CEO and Founder of his own firm.


He took the plunge in 2009. It wasn’t the most auspicious time to enter the realm of business advisement, but the challenges of the economy and the evolution of the M&A industry only made Andrew more determined to succeed.


Andrew’s drive was to help business owners. He believes that everyone can create the business and life they want – and he created a way to help them make it happen.

A Broadening Vision

As Andrew started working with business owners, he realized they needed more than an exit strategy – they needed customized services that would help them understand their current business value and how that would translate into the future they’d been working toward. And – if that future didn’t look the way they’d hoped – they needed someone who could help them get there.

That’s how Cross Northwest’s initial service areas were developed: Deal Advisory, Valuation, Value Consulting and Outsource Services. Andrew would meticulously dive into every aspect of a business, the owner’s vision, and their goals for the next chapter. As a partner with our clients, Andrew was helping owners position their business so that all of their hard work over the years comes to ultimate fruition – just the way they want it to.



Despite initial market conditions, just six years after he started, Andrew was ready to grow. To meet demand and to preserve the integrity of his boutique approach, it was time to bring together a full team of business owners, ops specialists, start-up advisers, turn-around artists and all-around business geeks to help him expand the firm from the Pacific Northwest to the greater Mountain West.

Andrew and Damon Pistulka had worked together in the past and in 2015 they decided to work together helping business owners prepare and sell their businesses.  This was the beginning of building the team around providing the options that Andrew had envisioned.

In early 2016 Andrew opened the Park City, Utah office while Damon managed the Seattle office.  The company also started a remote location in Denver.

In mid-2016 Damon met Jeffry Graham.  After working on a few projects together Andrew and Damon could clearly see that Jeffry’s background in growing company revenues in a wide range of industries was a valuable service Cross Northwest clients needed.  In early 2017 Jeffry became part of the Cross Northwest team.

Together the Cross Northwest team members have helped hundreds of business owners.  Now with the Exit Your Way program we are poised to help hundreds more realize their goals for growth, retirement and the picture they have for their future
